Position Title: Sales and Marketing Director

Roles and Responsibilities:
EcoCraft Homes is currently seeking to hire a qualified candidate whose roles and responsibilities will include Sales, Service, and Marketing efforts in Pittsburgh PA. The position is mostly remote, but will require in-person responsibilities periodically. We are specifically looking for a candidate with strong communication and organizational skills who is also passionate about sustainable building.

The sales and marketing director will be responsible for initial contact with all customers via our CRM system - accounting for 60% of the workload (including email, phone, digital conferences, and in-person meetings), Marketing Initiatives - accounting for 30% of the workload (including social media platform management, home set-events, factory and model home tours), as well as coordinating Service Requests - accounting for 10% of the workload.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The Director of Design Services will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Sales and EcoCraft VP throughout the Design and Construction process to manage the documentation, coordination, and customer relation needs of our projects. The EcoCraft team is a small, hardworking group of individuals dedicated to creating a superior construction experience to our customers. The right candidate must be comfortable working with varied stakeholders across multiple projects and should exhibit exceptional communication and time management skills. Due to the size of the team, this position will work with a great deal of autonomy, and the right candidate must exhibit excellent judgment when it comes to identifying and communicating risks to project schedule or budget. While responsibilities across the team will vary depending on the right candidate’s skill set and expertise, the Director of Design Services should expect to contribute in some of the following ways:

• Manage project documentation including maintaining the master drawings set, subcontractor drawing sets, and most current project information for projects across EcoCraft’s portfolio

• Manage estimating and bidding process by developing and issuing bid sets and scope of work outlines, and developing customer project estimates

• Manage architectural process including all phases of permitting and zoning approvals

• Manage and maintain project schedule for portfolio of projects

• Manage relationships with subcontractors and material suppliers during the course of projects

• Implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures for projects

• Support the Director of Customer Experience and EcoCraft VP in project management activities

Location:
Hybrid

EcoCraft offices are located in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, with project sites located throughout the North East and Mid-Atlantic. While this position will be based out of our Lawrenceville headquarters, EcoCraft operates on a flexible hybrid work model for our staff, with schedules consisting of a combination of office hours, remote work, and travel to job sites.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3-7 years of experience

• Degree in Architecture/Engineering/Design/Construction preferred

• Experience and/or proficiency in the following disciplines a plus

  • Building Science

  • Sustainability Experience

  • Reference EY list

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Proficiency with G Suite products including:

  • Gmail

  • Google Calendar

  • Google Docs

  • Google Sheets

• Experience and/or proficiency with the following products is a plus:

  • Autocad

  • Revit

  • Bluebeam

  • Smartsheets

  • Sketchup

  • Microsoft Project

  • Industry Specific Project Management and Design Softwares

Requirements and Certifications:

• Must hold and maintain a valid, U.S. Driver’s License

• Reliable transportation required for travel between job sites

• Sustainability Certifications such as LEED AP or WELL AP are a plus
